Consilio Ltd was established by Paul Smith in 2000. Having won the contract to manage the new State Limousine project on behalf of Bentley, Paul set up the company to provide Project Management and Management Consultancy services to other clients. Using the State Limousine as a springboard, Paul and Consilio went on to provide project management and general management support to other major organizations such as Aston Martin, Jaguar Land Rover, Continental Automotive, SAS Automotive, Millbrook Proving Ground, Eagle Picher, Bloxwich Engineering and Rolls-Royce Aerospace Paul’s background is primarily in the Automotive industry, mainly within New Product Development, having held various management positions up to Board level within OEM’s and component suppliers. As well as having personally managed projects of all sizes up to complete low-volume or specialist vehicles, Paul has established, managed and transformed Project Management departments within various companies. Paul has belonged to the Association for Project Management and the Society of Automotive Engineers. Paul qualified as a Prince2 Practitioner but is currently not registered
